Living Arts & Science Center
The Living Arts & Science Center is a nonprofit organization working for nearly fifty years to “inspires participation in art and science by engaging the community through education, discovery, exploration and creativity.” The center has become a trusted creative resource that makes Central Kentucky a better place.
The Living Arts & Science Center offers diverse programming including more than four hundred classes for all ages from infants to adults; hands-on exhibits exploring relationships between art and science; multiple exhibits of original work by local artists and musicians; field trips centering on Kentucky’s core arts and sciences content; and free art activities at community events such as MayFest and the Center’s own Family Fun Day.
The Living Arts & Science Center, housed in a nationally registered Historic Place, enjoy plenty of land to offer outside classrooms and free art classes to for thousands of at-risk and special needs children, teens, and adults.
